NJ county contractor marketing questions
Which New Jersey counties does The Hype Hero serve?
We serve all 21 New Jersey counties from our office in Morris Plains, Morris County. Each county page above uses public figures for that county, so you can see what the local market looks like before we talk.
Why does every county have its own page?
Counties differ in population, housing, climate and how many home service companies compete for the same customers. A page for each county lets us explain what those differences mean for roofers, pool builders, HVAC companies, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, remodelers and builders.
Where do the county figures come from?
Population comes from the Census Bureau 2025 estimates. Housing and ownership come from the American Community Survey 2020-2024. Climate figures come from NOAA 1991-2020 normals. Each county page names the source and year next to the figure.
Do you have clients in every county?
No. We do not claim client work in a county unless it is listed in our portfolio. The county pages are about the market and how we would approach it, not a list of customers.
Can you market a contractor who works in several counties?
Yes. We build a service area around the towns where your crews work, which often cross county lines. Start with the page for your home county and use the neighbor links on it.
Do I need to be registered to advertise home improvement work in New Jersey?
New Jersey requires businesses that do home improvement work to register with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs and to show the registration number in ads and on contracts over $500. That is a registration, not a trade license. Verify any contractor on the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs site.
What does a free county plan include?
A review of your website, Google Business Profile and local search results, plus a written plan for the towns you want to win. There is no obligation, and you own everything we build.
How do I get started?
Use the form on this page or call (973) 326-0081. Tell us your trade, your county and the towns you want more work in, and the team will send a plan.
