Restaurant Social Media Management in New Jersey
Restaurant social media
We plan, shoot, write and post your restaurant’s Instagram and Facebook so your page stays busy, your specials go out on time and the owner can stay in the kitchen. We are a Morris County team, and we also run Shop Morris County, the local guide North Jersey diners read for food and drink news.

Why does social media matter so much for restaurants?
Most people pick a place to eat on their phone in a few seconds. They tap your profile, look at the last few posts and decide if the food looks good and if you are open. A page that has not posted in three weeks looks closed, even when the dining room is full.
Social media is also where your regulars hear about the things that bring them back: a new seasonal menu, a Tuesday special, trivia night, a holiday prix fixe or a new patio. If those posts go out late, or never, the night they were meant to fill stays slow.

What we learn from running a local food and drink guide
Shop Morris County, the local guide we built and run, reaches more than 140,000 readers a month and its Facebook page passes 2 million monthly impressions. Its weekly Morris County Weekly newsletter goes to more than 3,000 subscribers. That gives us a weekly look at what North Jersey diners click, save and share: openings, new seasonal menus, specials, outdoor dining and places that feel local.
We bring that same playbook to your restaurant’s own accounts, and when it fits, your restaurant can also be featured on the local guides diners already read.

Do you also handle social media for towns across Morris County?
Yes. We are based in Morris Plains and work with restaurants, cafes, bars and bakeries across Morris County and North Jersey, including Parsippany, Morristown, Boonton, Denville, Randolph and the surrounding counties. For shoots we come to you. Posting, reporting and strategy work for restaurants anywhere.
Social media works best next to the basics, so many owners pair it with a restaurant website, Google Business Profile and SEO and an email list of regulars.

What do we post for New Jersey restaurants?
The posts that perform for North Jersey restaurants are rarely fancy. They are close-up shots of the dish people come for, short reels of the kitchen during service, the bartender building a drink, and clear posts about what is happening this week.
- Signature dishes and new menu items, shot fresh, not stock photos
- Weekly specials and slow-night offers, posted early enough to plan around
- Events: live music, trivia, wine dinners, holiday menus and private parties
- Seasonal moments NJ diners care about, like outdoor dining season, fall menus and holiday catering
- The people behind the food: chefs, servers, family owners
- Local tie-ins with your town, nearby events and other small businesses

Restaurant social media questions
How often should a restaurant post on social media?
Consistency matters more than volume. A few strong posts a week plus stories on busy days keeps a restaurant page looking open and active. We set the schedule around your specials and events.
Do you take the photos or do we?
We do. Our in-house team shoots your dishes, drinks, dining room and staff, so every post uses real, fresh content from your restaurant.
Which platforms do you manage for restaurants?
Mostly Instagram and Facebook, since that is where local diners look. We can add TikTok when short video fits your restaurant.
Will we still own our accounts?
Yes. Your social accounts stay in your name with full access. We work as a manager on them.
Can you promote events and holiday menus?
Yes. We build posts and stories before the event, remind people the day of and share content after, so the event keeps working for you.
Do you work with restaurants outside Morris County?
Yes. We shoot on site across North Jersey, and posting and strategy work anywhere in the US.
